Background

We live in a fast paced world, where technological progress is so quick that it can often be quite a task to merely keep up with it. In the matter of only a couple of centuries the sciences have advanced at rates unprecedented in most of human history. This has not only promised better health and living standards for modern humans, but has also created a wide avenue of career opportunities for those who have an inkling for mathematical equations and chemical reactions.

Unfortunately however, the world of science is largely dominated by persons from the most privileged social classes, while those who come from the lesser served and marginalised sections of society often find it difficult to even break into the sciences. Thus, there is a great need for specialised programmes geared towards helping children from these overlooked communities to strengthen their knowledge of the sciences. This is why I started Project Catalysis!
